Our Commitment to Quality and Pet Safety
At NOBILI NUTRITION, the health and well-being of pets come first. We are committed to producing safe, nutritious, and consistent pet food through strict quality-assurance procedures at every stage—from ingredient sourcing to finished-product distribution.
Our quality program is designed to prevent hazards, verify product quality, maintain full traceability, and support continuous improvement across our operations.
Carefully Selected Ingredients
We work with approved suppliers that meet our quality and food-safety requirements. Before a supplier is accepted, we evaluate relevant documentation, specifications, certifications, manufacturing practices, and product history.
Every ingredient must meet defined standards for:
- Identity and authenticity
- Nutritional composition
- Microbiological safety
- Chemical and contaminant limits
- Freshness and shelf life
- Storage and transportation conditions
Incoming ingredients are inspected and, where appropriate, tested before use. Materials that do not meet our specifications are placed on hold and are not released for production.
Good Manufacturing Practices
Our production activities follow documented Good Manufacturing Practices designed to maintain a clean, controlled, and hygienic manufacturing environment.
These practices include:
- Routine cleaning and sanitation
- Pest-control procedures
- Equipment maintenance and calibration
- Hygienic employee practices
- Controlled access to production areas
- Allergen and cross-contamination controls
- Proper storage of ingredients and finished products
- Documented production and sanitation procedures
Employees receive training appropriate to their responsibilities, including hygiene, sanitation, food safety, product handling, and quality procedures.
Hazard Prevention and Process Controls
Our food-safety program is based on hazard analysis and preventive controls. We identify potential biological, chemical, physical, and nutritional hazards and establish procedures to control them.
During production, we monitor critical process parameters such as:
- Cooking or thermal-processing conditions
- Temperature and time
- Moisture and water activity
- Product weight
- Mixing and formulation accuracy
- Packaging integrity
- Storage conditions
When a process deviation occurs, affected products are identified and placed on hold. Corrective actions are documented, investigated, and verified before products are released.
Product Testing and Verification
Finished products and production samples are evaluated against established specifications. Depending on the product, testing may include:
- Microbiological analysis
- Nutrient and formulation verification
- Moisture and water-activity testing
- Chemical and contaminant screening
- Foreign-material controls
- Packaging and seal inspection
- Appearance, aroma, texture, and other sensory checks
Testing may be performed by qualified internal personnel and independent laboratories. Products are released only after required quality and safety checks have been completed and reviewed.
Nutritional Integrity
Each product is developed and manufactured according to an approved formulation. We verify that ingredients are accurately weighed, properly mixed, and processed according to the product specification.
Our quality team reviews nutritional information and product specifications to help ensure that products meet their stated guarantees and are consistent from batch to batch.
Where applicable, formulations and labeling are reviewed against the requirements of the markets in which our products are sold.
Traceability and Batch Control
Every ingredient and finished product is assigned appropriate identification and lot information. Our records allow us to trace:
- The supplier and lot of each ingredient
- The production date and manufacturing line
- The formulation and batch number
- Quality-control and laboratory results
- Packaging and distribution information
This system allows us to investigate concerns efficiently and take prompt action when necessary.
Recall Preparedness
We maintain documented procedures for product withdrawal and recall. Our traceability system supports the rapid identification of affected ingredients, batches, customers, and distribution channels.
Recall procedures are reviewed and tested periodically through documented exercises. If a product-safety concern arises, we investigate promptly and communicate relevant information to customers, retailers, authorities, and other affected parties as appropriate.
Continuous Improvement
Quality assurance is an ongoing responsibility. We regularly review production records, testing results, customer feedback, supplier performance, internal audits, and corrective actions to identify opportunities for improvement.
Our quality team works with production staff, suppliers, food-safety specialists, veterinarians, nutrition professionals, and laboratory partners to strengthen our processes and maintain high standards.
Transparency and Customer Support
Batch codes, best-before dates, storage instructions, feeding guidelines, ingredients, and nutritional information are provided on our product packaging.
